For one of our clients in the banking area we are looking for self-employed Software Test Manager – Agile Enviroment

TASKS:

  • Definition of a program-wide test management plan aligned with stream-lead and program  management for all aspects of testing including
    • test objectives
    • test objects
    • success criteria (entry/exit criteria)
    • defect management
    • test data management
    • test environment management
    • risk handling, and
    • test reporting
  • Define release-dependent test management plans for the affected applications aligned with stream-lead
  • Manage all test functions in support of both, software development and engineering deployments
  • Work directly with software development team and engineering teams in developing test approaches, test cases and acts as team-member
  • Identify test-cases and testing effort already done for other applications and not necessary to be done again. Optimize testing effort and support calculation of consequential risks
  • Ensure that all defined requirements are met as defined in solution description resp. use cases/user stories
  • Responsible to develop test plans, test approaches and test cases as well as review of requirements and optimization of other testing activities, including test automation if applicable
  • Manage defects, test environments and the appropriate test data as well as the riskassessment for the tested components.
  • Clear communication and co-operation to key stakeholders (stream-leads, delivery manager, business manager) whenever necessary

YOUR SKILLS:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in software testing and ISTQB certificate (Minimum: foundation level)
  • Agile testing methods are beneficial, but classic testing methods are also in demand
  • Experience with test management, test planning, test reporting in an agile/non-agile setup
  • Good knowledge of the following technology areas:
    API-testing, web-application testing, regression testing, test optimization and risk
    management
  • Banking Know-how is an asset
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Preferably experience in requirement engineering methodologies
  • High reliability, assertiveness, goal oriented and focused on results
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment, flexibility
  • Fluent in English
